Hartnett, McConkey named All-MIAA

Molly Hartnett and Mallory McConkey were selected to the All-MIAA teams after standout performances during the 2020-21 basketball season.

Hartnett was named MIAA Freshman of the Year after posting a team-high 14 points per game and 59 assists. She's just the second Bearcat to ever receive freshman of the year honors, along with teammate Jaelyn Haggard after the 2018 season. The Overland Park, KS native was also named All-MIAA Honorable Mention.

McConkey is All-MIAA Honorable Mention for the second season in a row. The Guilford, MO native put up strong numbers across the board with 7.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-high 40.5-percent from the field.

Northwest finished with seven MIAA wins, the most since the 2013-14 season.
